About Stephanie Rued

Stephanie Rued is a New York State Licensed Clinical Worker who has expertise in working with women, children, and families. Stephanie is also a medical social work for Stony Brook University Hospital helping support neonatal, pediatric, and oncology medical units. Specifically, she is passionate about partnering with women who are navigating the sometimes-difficult transition into motherhood. Stephanie supports women coping with infertility, perinatal loss, and postpartum mood disorder.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Stephanie is a school social worker in a local district supporting student, families and staff with a variety of social/emotional and academic challenges. Stephanie also has over 13 years of experience as a Medical Social Worker with populations including perinatal, pediatrics, and chronic illnesses such as cystic fibrosis and cancer. In addition, she enjoys working with women as they navigate role transitions, stressors associated with pregnancy, and parenting/relationship concerns.
